Pastor Larry G. Trummel was born on May 31, 1950 in Clinton, IL. He was converted as a young child and was active in Lane Christian Church during his youth. Upon high school graduation in 1968, he entered Lincoln Christian College, Lincoln, IL and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1972. After marrying his wife, Pauline Van Meter on June 4, 1972, he moved to Clinton, IL and worked for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad while attending Lincoln Christian Seminary. Larry served in his first pastorate in Rutland, IL from November 1973 until May 1976. Pastor Trummel received his Master of Divinity degree in 1976 at which time he moved to Livermore, CA to minister with the Valley Christian Church. In 1985, he led the church through thorough biblical reformation culminating in a reconstituting of the church as Livermore Reformed Baptist Church in October 1986. In the same year, he was awarded the Doctorate of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Pastor Trummel and his wife are the parents of three daughters and one son. They have four grandchildren.
