Trummel</strong> was born on May 31, 1950 in Clinton, IL. He was converted as a young child and was active in Lane Christian Church during his youth. Upon high school graduation in 1968, he entered Lincoln Christian College, Lincoln, IL and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1972. After marrying his wife, Pauline Van Meter on June 4, 1972, he moved to Clinton, IL and worked for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad while attending Lincoln Christian Seminary. Larry served in his first pastorate in Rutland, IL from November 1973 until May 1976. Pastor Trummel received his Master of Divinity degree in 1976 at which time he moved to Livermore, CA to minister with the Valley Christian Church. In 1985, he led the church through thorough biblical reformation culminating in a reconstituting of the church as Livermore Reformed Baptist Church in October 1986. In the same year, he was awarded the Doctorate of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Pastor Trummel and his wife are the parents of three daughters and one son. Chip Junghans has served in the deaconate and as the church treasurer since 1989. He lives in Pleasanton with his wife, June, and their two children. Chip is a Marines Claim Manager for CNA Insurance in San Francisco. Jeff Escott became a deacon in 1999. Jeff is Senior Architect/ Project Manager at Dahlin Group in San Ramon and lives in Livermore with his wife, Katy, and their three children. Ken Combs our newest deacon, was installed in 2005. Ken, his wife, Jill, and their four children live in Brentwood.
