General Ministries

For Men

Men's Fellowship is a monthly meeting for Bible study and fellowship on the third Saturday from 8:00-9:30 a.m.

For Women

Each year the Women's Retreat provides an opportunity for refreshment, relaxation, encouragement and growth for the women of LRBC. This time away is spent in singing, fellowship, prayer, study and service projects. The 2007 Retreat was held at Westminster Retreat in Alamo. The women made layette blankets for the Valley Pregnancy Center.
 

For Youth

A graded Sunday School program is provided each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Beginning with Starting Gate where the children meet as a large group for singing, Scripture memory and birthday recognition through the class time, dedicated and loving teachers focus the students minds on biblical truths, the Gospel, salvation and application of the Bible lessons.

4-5 Kathryn Trummel Desiring God. A two year curriculum: First year in Old Testament; second year in New Testament.
6-8 Judy Mackanic Truth for Eternity Reformed Baptist Sunday School Curriculum. A two year survey of the Old Testament.
9-11 Pauline Trummel Truth for Eternity Reformed Baptist Sunday School Curriculum. A two year survey of the New Testament.
12-13 Ken Combs Christian Ethics, Personal Christianity, The Church, Evangelism and Missions.

14-17 Bryan Kemper Teacher designed and selected. The Christian Journey (spiritual disciplines, catechism study, answers to life's questions)

Youth Group meets once a month. High School and College youth gather on Friday evenings for study, fellowship, fun and growth.

Lunch with Pastor T. The high school and college students are encouraged to meet with Pastor Trummel each month for lunch, discussion of the day's sermon, and relaxation.

Riverside Youth Conference. Those who are13-20 year olds are invited to the annual youth conference in Riverside, CA the last weekend in June. Each year young people from California and throughout the U.S. and Canada meet together at the Cal Baptist College for a weekend of encouraging messages, fellowship and recreation.

Missions Concerns. We seek to practically teach the young people in the church about missions through projects and trips. Our past mission trips have include: Working at Gleanings a YWAM ministry to feed the worlds hungry, a service trip to assist the Ridgecrest RB Church in evangelism. Next trip - Jan 5-12, 2008 to help rebuild Lakeshore Mississippi - Hurricane Relief.

Sonshine Singers. Youth choir for 4-11 year olds meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. during the prayer meeting.

The Sounds of LRBC

The Sound Room provides CDs of all the messages given at LRBC and the West Coast Reformed Baptist Pastors' Conference. Listen or download sermons from Sermonaudio.

The Books of LRBC

The library provides LRBC families with books and videos for all ages. These materials may be checked out for a month at a time.

Spanish Ministry

LRBC's Spanish Ministry began several years ago in an effort to reach out to Spanish-speaking friends and neighbors in the Livermore area. The Spanish ministry provides a Spanish-speaking Sunday School class, and live audio translation through headphones during our worship services.
